A renewable future is our only option
Founded in 2003, AGROCONSULTANTS ENERGY has been actively engaged in Renewable Energy Sources (RES), Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) and agri-environmental projects. Today, we are one of the most specialized firms in our field, with a broad portfolio of projects and clients.
Listening to the global shift toward green development and the circular economy, we focused on RES. Recognizing energy storage as pivotal to the future of RES, we invest in the development and licensing of storage projects to maximize RES utilization and strengthen both energy autonomy and grid stability.
We built an end-to-end strategy for our clients—and for our own company—covering site assessment, equipment sizing, financing options, RES installation management, and evaluation of outcomes for both the client and the environment.
We also developed a holistic approach to reducing operating costs through renewables such as solar energy. This includes analysis of energy bills, energy studies, consumption patterns, and building operations in order to propose measures that lower energy use and cost (net-metering, net-billing/self-consumption projects).
With enrollments exceeding 30,000 ha) across various EU agri-environmental schemes and more than 1,300 clients, our company has long held a leading position in this domain. We also prepare business plans and techno-economic studies to support subsidies for farming enterprises, processing industries, and trading companies.
Our ongoing pursuit of new opportunities in the rural sector drives us to identify new crops and best practices—in Greece and abroad (e.g., net metering, dense planting, superfoods, energy crops)—so we can offer clients the optimal solution and new avenues for growth. This research and development effort has led to collaborations with research centers and universities not only in Greece but also in Germany, Spain, and the United States (Texas, Hawaii).
